On the 21th of april 2010 Thorarinn Leifsson was awarded the Reykjavik city education council children books prize for "Grandmother's Library" which he also illustrated.

Grandmother's Library is written for children aged 9-99. Published by Forlagid in Reykjavik on 20th October 2009. It is a 216 page book with 36 black and white illustrations.
Emiliana took the sayings a bit to seriously and had devoured two pages from an illustrated children's book about
a shitting mole when Albertina discovered the misunderstanding.
